Compassionate Communities

‘Let’s Build a Compassionate and Connected WA.’
This forum will show the way towards a more socially-connected community which better supports those who are caring, dying and grieving. It will bring together community members, health and community service providers, local government, researchers and policy makers to share best-practice examples and inspire you to get involved. It will offer tools on how to support those who are dying or grieving and foster grief literacy in our community.
Tickets are $30pp or $15 if booking in groups of 10+. Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch included.
An event organised by the volunteers behind South West Compassionate Communities.
It has been made possible by the support of Palliative Care WA, the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science, William Barrett and Sons, the WA Department of Health and Retravision.
The forum coincides with Dying to Know Day, an initiative of The Groundswell Project which encourages communities to speak about death, dying, grief and end-of-life planning.
